3/10/2023 0 Comments Vimeo customer service![]() You search the web for help, and every link to a Vimeo contact form either doesn't work or the Vimeo site bounces you right back to a login page but. What's this? You need to log in to contact customer service. You're happy to upgrade but they lock you out of your own account so you can't log back in to upgrade. They let you sign up for free, then you upgrade and pay good money because you need more storage, then they terminate your account because they want more money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS SITE! IT IS AWFUL! I WISH I COULD GIVE IT A NEGATIVE 100! And if you don't keep up your payments, I heard they delete your accounts. You can't upload long videos, you have to pay for that. And you can't upload HD videos, you have to pay for that. They give no warning, no strikes, they don't care if you lose all of your videos. I got tired of their automative, fake responses, they don't care so I just blocked them from my email. I emailed them back asking them, which video was it? what was copyrighted? and they literally copied and pasted what they said to me in the previous email that told me I'm deleted, and at the end of the email they give a smart bottom remark saying basically to upload my videos else where. I've been using Vimeo for a long time, all of a sudden I got an email saying they deleted/terminated my account for uploading copyrighted material.mind you I ask permission for things I used and 98% of the things I used are mine. Vimeo doesn't tell you anything just tell you useless stuff. Youtube gives you an option to dispute removed video. At least YouTube tells you in detail what video was removed and why, but Vimeo doesn't. ![]() THEY WILL DELETE/TERMINATE YOUR ACCOUNT WITH NO WARNING AND NO DETAILS! DO NOT USE VIMEO!! + AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. But now you have forced me to learn to get to love Filmora and lets see if the will evolve with the little normal guys like me that makes only a few clips per year. If you gave me a plan to pay per single new video let's say U$D 15 to load a new project and have the features for that project - then you would have seen me being back already three time the past year. Why ? I am all for paying and understand you have development costs and support costs but I am a little guy. My last video was exactly a year ago on the new Cameo :-( Why ? Because you are forcing me into a monthly subscription. Like videos I made before my mum passed away. BUT then Vimeo bought the app and I can no longer use it as well as they now own my family's history. Extremely simple with a professional feel for a normal guy making a video of a family event every now and then. ![]() ![]() Been using Cameo by Vimeo from the start it was my ultimate video editing app. ![]()
